Blue-morning

The sacred „flow“ will not be halted because you allowed your intelligence to play a part in the process. Think and experiment all you want.

It is Wednesday evening and I’m doing another TH exercise. Last night I did this monochromatic value study in Prussian Blue. Maybe doing little study sessions will be my new thing? Back when I took classes regularly I always had one evening per week for developing my skills, but now I don’t set aside time for that explicitly. Rather, I sort of wait for the development and learning to occur through reading about painting, looking at other people’s work and lots and lots of painting. TH’s blog post (one of many he has written on this topic) has reminded me that there’s no harm in thinking about what I’m doing, now is there?
