…were talking in church the other day and the sunlight hit them so beautifully, I had to snatch a photo and paint them afterwards! I love the relaxed poses both of them were striking and I’m pretty happy with how they have come out. I struggled with the faces though, as you can probably see. Partially this is because faces are difficult, but they are of course especially so when they are as miniscule as these ones (18x24cm). If I paint them again, I’ll give them a larger format.
…haben sich neulich in der Kirche unterhalten und dabei ist das Sonnenlicht so wunderbar auf sie gefallen, dass ich unbedingt ein Foto machen und sie malen musste. Die gelassene Haltung von beiden gefiel mir auch, und ich finde, die kommt in meinem Minibild (18×24) auch gut rüber. Schwierigkeiten hatte ich mit den Gesichtern, wie man sehen kann. Einerseits sind die ja sowieso nicht immer leicht zu malen, andererseits waren die beiden hier aber auch so mini, dass es mich ganz wuschig gemacht hat. Wenn ich das Motiv nochmal male, dann in einem größeren Format.
