We had a children’s fest at church last weekend. It was a lot of fun! Now that the pews are out the entire centre part of the church was one huge free space, and children were allowed to ride all kinds of vehicles on it that day. One of the youngest participants, Marlene, was seen riding around like this. I used a sturdy brown packing paper and gouache for this painting. I just wish I had’ve scanned the piece before I varnished it; now there’s quite a bit of glare on it which, try as I might, I couldn’t do anything about. Btw, this is part of my St. Nicholai series.
