Last Sunday I met with two lovely ladies from church for a working breakfast. This was a planning session; we are organising an event in June next year in our church. We had lots of fun and before I realised it was almost past lunch time. I had the fullest intention to quickly speed home and prepare a lovely lunch. But then I saw this little group of trees. Next to a woodland parking lot too! Too convenient. I simply had to pull in and paint them. It’s one of the few autumn sketches I managed to pull off this season. I like the trees themselves and the fallen leaves all around them. I soaked up the autumn colours and the pensive mood (it was drizzling, too) and happily drove home afterwards. My sweetheart had just finished preparing lunch, so it all worked out 😉

Hat also alles gepasst 🙂
