Normalerweise arbeite ich morgens im Zug, aber vor zwei Tagen ging das einfach nicht – ich musste endlich kleine Entwürfe für größere Bilder, die ich später vielleicht mal male, anfertigen. Einmal zwei Pferdchen auf der Koppel, im Vordergrund ein Fluss, hinten ein Wald. Eine friedliche Szene mit hellem Mittelgrund. Leider sehen die Pferde wie Bären aus, sagt mein Mann. Ist ja auch nur ein Entwurf 🙂 Das untere setze ich bestimmt mal bald um, das gefällt mir vom Thema echt gut und ist vom Bildaufbau auch ziemlich einfach.

I normally work on the train to work in the morning but two days ago I was simply incapable of that, for I urgently needed to make a few tiny composition and tonal sketches for paintings which I may want to start working on soon. The first one features two horsies on a pasture with a stream in the foreground and forest in the background. It’s supposed to be a peaceful scene with a brightly lit middleground. Unfortunately the horses look like bears, says my hubby. No problem, it’s only a sketch 🙂 The bottom one will most certainly be used for a painting. The composition is pretty simple and the reflection as I saw it that day at the river rather stunning.
