I’m looking after the garden at the moment which means that I have the pleasure of harvesting what is ripe. This morning it was quite a lot: red tomatoes, green tomatoes and mini aubergines (eggplant). I fetched a little basket and placed all the goodies in there. The accumulated vegetables looked so nice in the fresh morning light that I couldn’t resist sketching them quickly even though I had had other plans for the morning.
Ich kümmere mich gerade um den Garten, und das bedeutet, dass ich das, was reif ist, abernten darf. Heute morgen fielen in diese Kategorie und daher in meine Hände: rote Tomaten, grüne Tomaten und Miniaubergines. Ich habe ein kleines Spankörbchen geholt und die Ernte darin ins Haus gebracht. Wie das Gemüse da so in der Morgensonne lag, konnte ich nicht wiederstehen und musste es skizzieren, obwohl ich eigentlich was anderes vorhatte.
