I recently read that, in the arts in particular, experimentation is the way to innovation. So one evening this week, after coming home from work to a quiet flat and after I had eaten my little bowl of soup, I sat down and tried my hand at artificial light in an urban scene. Days before, I had snatched a few pics of traffic lights during the blue hour. Here is the tiny first attempt.

Vor kurzem habe ich gelesen, dass Experimentieren der einzige Weg zu neuen Entdeckungen ist. In den Künsten gilt das ganz besonders. Als ich neulich von der Arbeit in die stille Wohung kam und nachdem ich meine halbe Portion Suppe gegessen hatte, habe ich mich deswegen mal an was Neues herangewagt und es ausprobiert: Kunstlicht. Einige Tage zuvor hatte ich während der blauen Stunde ein paar Ampel und Laternen fotografiert – und so habe ich sie dann interpretiert.
