Last weekend we went and stayed in a castle – as you do 🙂 No you don’t, and neither do we, but this castle has cheap accommodation and we like to use it for that when there’s a family event in my hometown. We arrived late on Friday and had all of Saturday for doing nothing at all 🙂 Naturally, I went out early and painted the view across the near-by lake. It was overcast but the sun peeked through the clouds. Its light was extremely white and bright. Little fishing boats and the occasional speed boat went past. It must have been one of the last boating weekends, and I’m glad I was there.
Letztes Wochenende haben wir wieder einmal im Schloss verbracht, wie man das eben so macht 🙂 Nein, macht MAN nicht und wir auch nicht, aber weil in der Nähe meiner Heimatstadt ein Schloss ist, in dem man für wenig Geld übernachten kann, schlafen wir bei großen Familienfeiern ganz gern da. Wir sind spät am Freitag angekommen und haben für den Samstag keine einzige Verabredung und auch sonst nichts vorgehabt – was sehr, sehr entspannend war. Ich bin gleich früh runter zum See und habe die Aussicht gemalt. Es war ein stürmischer Herbsttag. Ein paar Boote sind friedlich vorbeigetuckert. Ein wunderschönes Malerlebnis war das!
