This is a little moonscape that I am working on. I have taken photos from in between so you can see how the painting came together (or 
not). The stage it is at right now was to be the final stage, but I now think that it really is lacking umph. And my moon didn’t come out well. Time for a rescue effort. My plan is to put a bit more drama into the sky, sort of like in this reference photo here. I think the paper can take a little bit more water – but not much because I have already put three really wet washes on the sky area. Fingers crossed.
Dies hier ist ein Mondbild, an dem ich gerade arbeite. Ich habe ein paar Fotos in Zwischenstadien gemacht. So, wie es jetzt aussieht, sollte es eigentlich fertig sein. Ist es aber nicht – es fühlt sich fad an. Der Mond ist mir nicht gut gelungen, also muss ich das Bild jetzt versuchen zu retten. Ich werde den Himmel etwas dramatischer gestalten so wie in dem Foto oben. Das Papier kann allerdings nicht mehr viel Bearbeitung ertragen, das habe ich im Bereich des Himmels schon drei Mal komplett laviert. Also: Daumen drücken, dass das klappt!
