Before the sun disappeared again behind thick thundery clouds I rushed out to capture myself something interesting near-by. Like this peaceful farmyard. For some strange reason I produced the pencil sketch afterwards. Should I ever feel like I want to do more on this subject – e.g. do an oil painting which I suspect might be suitable for this sujet – I now have the means to do so.
Gestern, bevor die Sonne verschwand, bin ich noch einmal schnell losgedüst, um ein interessantes Motiv mit Licht-Schatten-Variation zu finden. Diese sehr ruhige und friedliche Hofeinfahrt in Ebstorf ist dabei herausgekommen. Merkwürdiger Weise habe ich die Bleistiftskizze hinterher und zu Hause angefertigt. Sollte ich also noch einmal mehr zu diesem Thema machen wollen – z.B. ein Ölbild malen, was ich für das Sujet eigentlich auch passend finden würde – dann habe ich jetzt wenigstens alle Vorbereitungen dafür abgeschlossen.
