Lately, I really haven’t had as much time for painting as I would have liked. So I have come up with a cunning plan: new little daily projects. The hands (here and here) were my first daily project during which I pledged to draw a hand a day in no more than 20 minutes. That was fun! Right now I’m doing a still life a day, preferably of some objects which I have around me in the house. I try to be really quite loose with it, which includes just going for what strikes my fancy. So far it struck me as I beheld a mass of dirty dishes and a pile of books with a cute stuffed toy on top 🙂
In letzter Zeit habe ich einfach nicht so viel Zeit zum Malen, wie ich gern hätte, und daran lässt sich nichts ändern. Also habe ich mir eine List erdacht: ich setze mir kleine Ziele, die ich jeden Tag verwirklichen muss (und kann). In der ersten Woche habe ich jeden Tag eine Hand gezeichnet (die Ergebnisse kann man hier und hier sehen). Jetzt, in der zweiten Woche, male ich jeden Tag ein kleines Stillleben. Ich versuche, da ganz locker heranzugehen und mir einfach ein Motiv aus der Wohnung zu schnappen, das mir spontan interessant erscheint. Und bisher traf das auf das dreckige Geschirr am Wochenende und einen Bücherstapel mit Kuscheltier oben drauf zu 🙂
